BOG WALKING AND CAMPING IN THE WILDERNESS
Soomaa is the best place for seeing signs of brown bears, wolf packs, elks, wildboars, beaver and all sorts of smaller animals. Kuresoo Bog is one of the best big bog surviving with species diversity among the highest.
Canoeing & Kayaking

We have 5 outfitted canoes and more than 15 proffessional sea kayaks. You can also hire drysuits, drybags, charts and other equipment depending on your needs.
Canoe hire for the day is 20€ per person, 25€ with transport. For children 10€, 15€ with transport.
Trip to bog island and longer expeditions
Kuresoo is the biggest remained bog massive in Estonia. Among the many bog island there is one special island that was settled already 4000 years ago.
Crossing the bog by foot takes a whole day. On the bog ranges you will see the tracks of wolf, elks and in every spring we have found a bear wintering hide.
There are many hidden treasures in Soomaa similar to Toonoja. Toonoja is an island in the bog, where people have been escaping and living since 2000 years BC. There are no real roads to Toonoja's smoke sauna and the route from Karuskose takes you accross Kuresoo bog.
We can guide you on longer trips that can last up to 5-6 days. Usually we do it combined using bogshoes, canoes and skies.
